How to Apply

Follow our step-by-step guide to apply Marble Densifier Regular for the best results.

Step 1 - Surface Preparation

Before applying tile adhesive, make sure to thoroughly clean the surface. Remove any oil, dirt, dust, or solvents.

Step 2 - Mixing

It's best to mix the adhesive with a mechanical stirrer to get a smooth, lump-free paste. Slowly mix until you have a smooth paste. Let it sit for 5 minutes before applying.

Step 3 - Pre-wetting the Wall

Before applying tile adhesive, dampen the wall to get rid of any loose dust particles.

Step 4 - Application

Use a spatula, blade, or trowel to apply the first coat of the smooth paste from the bottom up, and then apply the second coat horizontally.

Step 5 - Second Coat

After the first coat dries, clean the surface with a sponge, cloth, or putty blade to remove any loose particles before applying the second coat.

Step 6 - Drying

Before applying distemper or paint for a premium finish, make sure the surface is completely dry.

Things to Consider

You cannot apply Wilber New Construction Adhesive to fiber cement boards, plywood, decorative laminates, metal, plastic, etc.
Adhesive cannot be used as a waterproofing solution.
You cannot fix metal tiles, engineered stone, or artificial stone tiles with Wilber New Construction Adhesive.
